Individuals seeking personal training often face the challenge of finding the right coach to match their goals, experience level, and personal preferences. Traditional methods can be time-consuming, inconsistent, and lack personalisation, making it difficult for clients to commit to a fitness journey with confidence. Actively’s founding team recognised this gap and envisioned a platform that could intelligently pair clients with coaches while supporting ongoing engagement and progress tracking in a seamless and intuitive way.

We partnered closely with the Actively team to bring this vision to life, providing end-to-end software development that spanned initial scoping, technical consulting, full-stack development, and cloud infrastructure. Central to the solution was an advanced algorithm capable of matching clients with the ideal coach based on their unique goals and preferences. Alongside this, we developed a public-facing website to introduce the platform and its benefits, an Admin Portal to manage user data and operational workflows, and a Coach Management Portal to empower trainers to engage with clients, monitor progress, and manage schedules effectively.
Every component of the platform was designed with scalability and reliability in mind. CI/CD pipelines, ECS containerisation, and auto-scaling infrastructure ensured that the system could handle growth and maintain consistent performance. Secure authentication through Auth0 provided a safe and personalised experience for both clients and coaches. Throughout the project, we coordinated closely with the team, paying meticulous attention to detail to ensure a product that was not only functional but engaging and user-friendly.
